The ABM-Majan Mentoring Program is a partnership between ABM International Private School (ABMIPS) and Majan Education to develop future educators through hands-on learning and professional mentorship. Teacher-trainees pursue the Cambridge Diploma in Teaching and Learning, are mentored by experienced Cambridge ABM educators combining academic studies with practical experience at ABM.
Trainees are mentored through practical experience, including: classroom observations, lesson planning, teaching practice to prepare them to become dynamic educators. The program operates from Sunday to Wednesday, offering a platform for trainees to apply theoretical knowledge in real teaching scenarios. Since 2018, ABM has provided internship and mentoring for SQU students studying to be teachers.
This hands-on experience prepares them to meet the demands of 21st-century classrooms while contributing to Oman’s human resource development and workforce readiness; supplying qualified Omani international school teachers.
