ABM Biy’ati Project Qualifies for Injaz Competition

This project was developed in response to the increasing volume of organic waste generated daily, much of which ends up in landfills, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions such as methane and carbon dioxide. These emissions accelerate global warming and pose serious environmental concerns. The project aims to mitigate these negative effects by recycling organic waste into compost, which not only reduces environmental pollution but also enhances soil quality and encourages sustainable farming practices. The initiative involves designing and implementing a mechanical device that efficiently grinds and processes organic waste, converting it into compost through an advanced propulsion system. The device is designed to be eco-friendly, using durable and biodegradable materials, and can operate using electricity or renewable energy sources such as solar power. The project is led by the Social Studies Department and has been selected for the final round at the upcoming GITEX exhibition, highlighting its innovative approach and commitment to environmental sustainability.
