أسدل الستار على بطولة كرة الطائرة للمدارس الدولية والخاصة بفوز مستحق لأبطال مدرسة أحمد بن ماجد الدولية بالمركز الأول، حيث أحرزوا كأس البطولة والميدالية الذهبية دون أي هزيمة منذ انطلاق البطولة في اليوم الثامن عشر من الشهر الحالي.
الفريق بدأ مشواره بفوزه في دور ال٣٢ بالقرعة لمواجهة مدرسة الوطنية في دور الستة عشر، حيث فاز بشوطين متتاليين بنتيجة 15/3 و 15/7 على التوالي.
ثم صعد الفريق للدور ربع النهائي والتقى مدرسة الهدى الخاصة وحقق فوزاً بنتيجة شوطين مقابل صفر.
وفي المباراة النصف نهائية، التقى أبطال أحمد بن ماجد الدولية بمدرسة درة الخليج فرع العرفان، وبعد مباراة مثيرة، فازوا بنتيجة شوطين مقابل واحد 2/1.
وفي المباراة النهائية، التقى الفريق بمدرسة درة الخليج فرع الغبرة، وبعد مباراة قوية ومثيرة، تمكنوا من الفوز بنتيجة شوطين مقابل واحد.
بهذا الفوز، أحرز فريق مدرسة أحمد بن ماجد الدولية لقب بطولة كرة الطائرة للمدارس الدولية والخاصة بأداء متميز واستحقاق.
